Taylor leads England to success

The four team mini tournament took place over five days, during which time England managed three comfortable wins.

First up was the Czech Republic who were on the end of a 2-0 defeat thanks to goals from Martin Cranie of Scunthorpe and Ryan Jarvis of Norwich.

Then came a 5-0 victory over Slovakia which saw Taylor himself score twice, together with goals from Grant Leadbitter of Sunderland, Lee Holmes of Derby and an own goal.

Finally on Sunday came the crunch game with Scotland that England won 2-0 with goals from Mark Noble of West Ham and Aaron Lennon of Leeds.
