Steve Bruce’s 25-man squad has been confirmed by the Premier League.
After the European transfer window closed on Monday afternoon, there is now no movement in or out of Premier League clubs until January 1.
And Bruce’s squad – along with 37 under-21 players – has been confirmed by the Premier League, with no place for Jack Colback, Jamie Sterry or Henri Saivet.
Newcastle name Andy Carroll in the squad after his deadline day move. Although he was a free agent, United would not have been allowed to add him to their squad after the deadline if they had senior professionals who had been cut.
Joelinton, Allan Saint-Maximin and Emil Krafth also make the cut.
United name 14 non homegrown players among the 25-man squad, with “homegrown” classified as players who have been developed by an English club, regardless of nationality.
Here is the squad in full.
