The trio returned to training on Tyneside yesterday after being given a short break in the wake of the ugly scenes that marred their African Cup of Nations play-off.
Alan Pardew: “We’ve given them a couple of days off, but they’re due in.
“I haven’t spoken to them about the incident in the game, as such.
“Obviously, I will have a conversation with all three about how they found it.
“Hopefully, they’re not too upset by what went on.”
The match was abandoned in the 78th minute, with Ivory Coast leading 2-0 on the night thanks to two goals from Drogba, whose second strike sparked the violence.
The disqualification ensures Ba and Cisse will not have to attend the tournament.
