Newcastle boss Alan Pardew played down the rumours that there was problems last season saying all the players "understood each other", when it was plain to see there obviously WAS communication difficulties.
The media picked up on it but the Toon boss slammed such "stories" as "negative jouralism".
Moussa Sissoko told the local newspapers he was struggling with English ... and he was one of many.
But Pardew pushed it under the carpet saying everything in house was hunky-dory.
However, Anita is convinced the better lines of communication can only help Newcastle’s players as they look to put the disappointment of last season behind them.
Vurnon Anita: 'The communication is much better now too, everybody can speak English now as well, so it is easier for everybody to communicate with each other and with the supporters.
'We have had six months now to know each other as a group, we know each other better. We have no excuse this season to too badly. It has to be good.
'This is my second season, I know what to expect now.
'The whole team now knows what to expect because the whole team did not know too much about how different the Premier League is to other leagues.
'This year we must improve and I think we will do well.
'It will be nice that all of this squad have a full season together.
'The coach wants us all from the start so we are all settled and together.
'The guys who came in in January also are here for the new season, so there is a good feeling between everyone building. Hopefully we will see that on the bench.
'I knew that it was going to be very, very tough, totally different to Holland.
'It is all about improvement. We have to keep together and work hard on and off the pitch.'
WE TELL IT AS IT IS - NO BULLSHIT!
