Ashley - Sell Up Or Go Rot In Hell!

Yet ... amazingly ... former Toon star Rob Lee says "Mike Ashley can win over Newcastle's fans by appointing Alan Shearer as manager".
Let's face it ... Ashley is a dead-man-walking.
Gordon McKeig was unpopular, as was Westwood the Pirate, but I cannot remember anyone as hated at St James' Park as Ashley is at this current time.
Unless Ashley sells, the January transfer window seems to be one way traffic with top players leaving the club and no-one of any pulling power to attract the big names.
And Ashley has already said he is keeping his money in his pocket.
If ever the warning signs of relegation were ringing around Gallowgate ... it is NOW!
Lee (talking to the Newcastle fanzine): "I can honestly say, yes, Alan Shearer will manage Newcastle.
"Until now I would have just said that he would one day but I finally believe that he would tomorrow if the job is how he wants it, without all the silly games going on that have killed it.
"Mike Ashley would solve a lot of his problems by appointing Alan and accepting that mistakes have been made.
"Alan could be a priceless get out of jail card. Now is the time to make the club what we all want."
Yet someone should tell Lee that Shearer backed Kevin Keegan for walking out on the club due to the treatment he got from Ashley and Dennis Wise.
Shearer said at the time: "No manager worth his salt would stand for the treatment Kevin Keegan got".
