Despite promotion being worth as much as £60million to the club, manager Chris Hughton will have to generate his own funds or rely on free transfers and loan deals.
Which is very interesting because it also says in the statement "the days of losing talented youngsters like Alan Shearer, Peter Beardsley, Steve Bruce ... are gone".
So what about losing the likes of Andy Carroll, Steven Taylor, Nile Ranger, ect?
