Ashley/Keegan Have Had 'Crisis Meeting'!

The London hacks, always happy to add fuel to the fire at Newcastle, claim Keegan was called in for 'crisis talks' after Saturday's defeat at St James' Park, which has left them just three points above the drop-zone.

They claim Keegan was unable to give Magpies owner Ashley a guarantee of Premier League football for next season.

Newcastle claim: "Mike always has a drink with the players and managers after the game and it sounds like someone has seen him talking to Kevin and jumped to the wrong conclusion."

The fact of the matter is simple ... of course the chairman keeps up to date with the manager's plans, and YES they HAVE had a meeting.

Ashley is as concerned (probably MORE so) than the fans, and he would be an idiot to keep his distance.

We are facing a crisis, and Ashley wants all hands on deck to get us out of it.

As for Keegan's future? We are the worst form side in the Premiership, and that includes no-hopers Derby County!

Ashley wants results, Keegan (to date) has not provided them, and the Newcastle owner knows the squad is too good to go down.

The players are FAR superior to those that the likes of Wigan, Birmingham, Reading and Sunderland ... and it is about time KK found an answer to the struggling form.
