Newcastle manager Alan Pardew, who was without injured Papiss Cisse in a week which saw strike partner Demba Ba sold to Chelsea, hopes to have players back against Norwich next weekend.
Pardew: "We know we need to get some bigger players who can handle the situation of carrying a Newcastle jersey, whether that's a signing or getting a player back from injury."
With the loss of Demba Ba, we are a striker down, and he just happens to be the best striker we have had since Alan Shearer.
Do we replace him with ANOTHER 19-year old, or do we replace him at all ... because Ashley pocketed the £35m Andy Carroll money ... and don't think he is compelled to bring in anyone at all.
We are in a mess, and not JUST because we have so many injuries.
The way the team surrendered on Saturday at Brighton was more than frightening ... it was DISGUSTING!
