Despite beating Cardiff 3-0, Newcastle fans turned on Pardew with a protest from the stands.
The fans unfurled a banner which read 'Get out of our club' and had a graphic of Alan Pardew and Mike Ashley with the caption 'Liar' written underneath.
But Mike Ashley had the stewards on Red Alert and as they patrolled St James' Park, and there were many cat-and-mouse situations with fans holding up the banners and quickly taking them down when the stewards moved in.

Hundreds of supporters left in their droves after the 69th minute which was symbolic as 1969 was the last time the Magpies lifted a trophy.
Pardew claims that being back in the dugout would transform Newcastle's fortunes, but every time he set foot towards the pitch it was met with a chorus of boos.
So he kept it to a minimum.
