Barton attacked the Magpies owner Mike Ashley and Llambias during an interview, claiming he was forced out of the club due to a disagreement over a bonus scheme.
He is now challenging Llambias to take a public lie detector test, and has warned him to think twice about trying to gag the controversial midfielder through the courts.
Barton claimed the players at St. James' Park were being treated like "Sports Direct subordinates," - the company which Ashley owns.
Derek Llambias responded yesterday, saying: "Our legal advisors are dealing with the matter now and we would encourage Joey to concentrate on his football at Queens Park Rangers.
"It may not be a lot of money to Joey, but over 2,000 Sports Direct employees earning £20,000 will receive shares worth over £44,000 over the next two years."
However, Barton has fuelled the war of wars by revealing that a potential autobiography was in the offing in the near future which he stated won't reflect well on the Newcastle hierarchy.
Joey Barton: "Seen Llambias' comments, he is crass and has no class.
"I'll leave it for another day but if he wants to take a polygraph live on TV, let's do it.
"Not only do I have insurmountable amounts of proof (texts etc) but also about six other players who will concur. Am ready when you are Derek.
"If he's worried now, him and his fat mate should be sh*tting it if I decide to write a book. There'll be no holding back on those two muppets."
Gan on Joey! Lamp the muppets!
