Leeds United manager Simon Grayson is in a difficult situation. He has a player who obviously couldn't care less about Leeds ... he's already slapped in a transfer request ... but what can he do to keep his promotion train from falling off the rails?
Beckford has yet to prove himself beyond the Third Division (as it was in my day), and Carlisle won at Elland Road last night 2-1 to edge nearer to Wembley, and show him for what he is worth.
Now we hear Everton may yet move for JBeckford amid reports the striker has agreed a pre-contract with the Premier League club.
Reports now suggest that Beckford has already signed a pre-contract to move to Everton when his Leeds deal runs out.
Grayson: "Pre-contract agreements aren't binding, so both parties could pull out at any time.
"If he bangs in another 20 goals, there might be bigger teams than Everton coming in for him."
As it stands ... he is more likely to end the season as a FLOP ... then nobody will want him!
