The good news is that Craig does not need another operation and should be back playing in around two weeks time.

The Welsh wizard has been told that the pain he has been feeling in his knee is not a return of his tendonitis problem, but just a result of him training too hard in a bid to regain full fitness too quickly.

He may return for the home match with Southampton on November 16, but a more likely target is the trip to Manchester United the following week.


The player is sure to be keen to make Wales trip to Azerbaijan on November 20, but equally as sure is that Sir Bobby will do all he can to prevent his fit again striker travelling with Mark Hughes’ squad.

This mean that Bellamy will miss another Champions League tie, against Feyenoord, but let’s just hope there are still at least six more to come.
