Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has claimed Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez "fell into a trap" after his outburst at Ferguson last month.

Liverpool have won just once and lost top spot in the Premier League since Benitez read from his list of "facts", in which he claimed Ferguson was untouchable when it came to disciplinary matters.
