Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez has suggested to The Shields Gazette that Moussa Sissoko and Georginio Wijnaldum will remain at the club next season.
Both the midfielders have been linked with moves away from Newcastle in the summer transfer window.
According to The Times, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing France international midfielder in the summer transfer window.
The Mirror recently credited Tottenham, Liverpool and Everton with interest in Netherlands international midfielder Wijnaldum this summer.
Benitez, though, has suggested that the two midfielders could remain at St. James’ Park for the 2016-17 campaign.

“Maybe, you never know,” Benitez told The Shields Gazette when asked if the two midfielders could still be at Newcastle for the start of the new Championship campaign.
“Our idea is to keep these players, if it’s possible, but we know how football is now and the market and agents.
“Gini has trained really well, and I’m very happy with him. And Moussa, I rate him very highly. He was very good for us at the end of the season and in the Euros.
“We know what is going on. A lot of people will be asking for them, but, at the moment, we will see if they can stay and improve the team. If not, we will find the best solution for the team.”
