Apparently he is after midfield stars Kevin Nolan and Alan Smith.
Everton, Bolton and Hull are known to be after Nolan, but Chris Hughton said last week the former Bolton skipper is not for sale.
Joe Kinnear signed Nolan from Bolton for £4m in January when he was going through a slump in form.
Since then Bolton have tried to sign him back!
