Emre has apologised to the club's fans for the way his team squandered another lead at St James' Park on Sunday.
Emre: "Once again at home, we started well and have not won, and I am really sorry about that for our great fans. Just like against Fulham, we were in front and have lost our concentration and not kept up the pace we started with in the first 15 minutes.
"I apologise to the home fans for that. As players, we want to win at home every time we play. Before the game, that is all we talked about, getting three points on the board. I am really disappointed.
"But we cannot think negatively - we have to think positively about things.
We have quality players here and the best supporters, so we need to start winning home games."
