He slagged off Newcastle United, saying "why should they win anything?" then took a swipe at the Toon Army saying "they are not as good as the press say they are".
Amazing considering the Toon fans never got on his back and, let's be honest, there were a million reasons why they should!
He had the makings to be one of the greats - strength, pace, balance - yet the IQ of a two-year old. My 89-year old great aunt Betty has a better football brain ... and she also knows the chief reporter of the Evening Chronicle is called ALAN Oliver.
Sadly, Titus doesn't. Prompting Mr Oliver to have a dig on his (and our behalf):
Oliver: "Why is it that those who are shown the door at St James's Park always seem to blame everybody but the people they should be blaming? Themselves.
"Graeme Souness was guilty of this, and so too was big Sam Allardyce.
"Now I see Titus Bramble has been at it. Blaming everybody but himself for his mistaken-ridden time at St James's Park. Saying that some journalists had an agenda against him. What a load of garbage.
"But he blames it all on one particular journalist.
"In his own words, 'Brian Oliver, the sports editor of the Newcastle Chronicle'.
"It's well known Titus cannot concentrate on the field. Now it seems he should concentrate more on getting people's names right."
