Steve Bruce: "The one thing when you have got a young team - and we were very, very young on the day - I honestly believe that you do get times when you get caught up in it.
"I remember when I was 30 playing in my first FA Cup semi-final and it got to me big style.
"After 10 minutes, I was a bag of nerves. The whole thing got to me. You can't concentrate, you seem to have no energy.
"I remember in the Newcastle game, Jordan Henderson making his first run forward and then trying to get back. It was like pulling a caravan - and that was in the first 10 minutes.
"That was just the occasion, and that's sometimes what happens. It gets to you, you get a bit nervous, you get a bit edgy, you lose concentration, and before you know it, the game has gone.
"Certainly, I am hoping we can learn from the experience of what we did last time. The young players, it will certainly help them, if that's the right word."
