... Yohan Cabaye believes the recent influx of French players will help the club move in the right direction.
Alan Pardew brought in the likes of Moussa Sissoko, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, Yoan Gouffran, Massadio Haidara and Mathieau Debuchy in the last transfer window to add to the French nationals he already had in his squad.
Yohan Cabaye: “The club has made its market in France, and Ligue 1 is not as poor as people may think.
"There are still quality players in France, and what is good is that they adapt quickly.
"I hope they will help the club to continue quickly, and things are looking up for the future.
“Tenth place is not very far, this would be the first step.
"But we'll have to think fast and keep out of this danger zone. Then, why not.”
