Speaking to the club’s official website, Yohan Cabaye has explained how Alan Pardew is different at Crystal Palace to Newcastle United.
The manager replaced Neil Warnock at the club last January, with them 13th in the table about just four points from the relegation zone.
He has overseen a dramatic overturn of form since then, with them finishing tenth last season and currently fifth, four points outside the top four, halfway through this campaign.
Things are going much better for him at Selhurst Park than they did at St James Park; with him often the target for much of the criticism as the Magpies struggled.
"In general he is the same," he told cpfc.co.uk.
"[But] I think he's more involved in the club at Palace. You look at the training ground, the stadium, everything; he's involved.
"For him he feels much better than he did at Newcastle, I think. What he's done from the start [at Palace] has been fantastic."
