The Frenchman denied that there was any ill-feeling between the pair despite being axed after just a handful of games at Newcastle United following his big-money summer transfer from Ligue 1.
Remy Cabella: “I like Alan Pardew.
“It is him who I came to Newcastle to play for.
“I have no problem with him. It’s football.
“If I will see him I will say hello, no problem.
“It’s normal for a manager and a player, and I respect him – but I go there to win the game.
“It’s a big match.
“We want three points so we will give everything.
“It will be special against Alan Pardew.
"Against Stoke we were disappointed because we scored one goal and then conceded at a late time.
“Maybe 1-1 is a good score but we prefer to win."
