The former Magpies striker has been linked with a January move from West Ham United but (according to reports in the Telegraph) has told close pals he has no intention of quitting the Hammers - even if they did make him available for transfer in January.
His agent Mark Curtis has played down any talk of a return to Newcastle and when asked about the possibility of a move he said: “Not a chance.”
As always these newspapers have a "source", and in this case we believe it is Billy Flipflop, Andy's school mate from Gateshead, who drinks in the Black Bull.
The Telegraph's source close to Carroll said: “Andy is really happy in London.
“He’s settled and he just wants to get back to scoring goals for West Ham.
“He’s working very hard on fitness and hopes to be back on the pitch soon.”
