The 21-year-old Geordie has also been told he can move either into his own new home or remain living with skipper Kevin Nolan while awaiting a January trial for allegedly assaulting an ex-girlfriend in the early hours of October 17.
Carroll appeared before Tynedale magistrates at Hexham yesterday to hear his solicitor Philip Moy apply for removal or variation of bail conditions imposed by the same court 10 days earlier.
Carroll had been ordered to live with club captain Nolan at Darras Hall, Ponteland, until his trial on January 10 for allegedly assaulting 18-year-old Laurie Henderson. He denies the charge.
In addition, Carroll was told he must not contact prosecution witnesses in the case or enter the home of his alleged victim Laurie Henderson.
