Chris Waddle: "I have said all along we should mix it up with the young talent.
"We've got players like Wilshere coming through and if it means one or two of the under-21 lads stepping up, do it.
"I always remember the Euro Under-21s. Germany won it, then a lot of the players went to South Africa and the world saw how good they were.
"If our young players are performing well, take them. Throw them in. We have tried everything else.
"It doesn't bother me who we get (in the draw).
"International football is about turning up at a tournament and playing to the best of your abilities.
"It is not rocket science. It doesn't matter whether you get a group of death or a group of jelly, if you are going to win it, whoever comes in front of you, you have to beat them.
"You can't structure it, you can't plan it. You hope the team is on form, the confidence is high and you turn up."
