Alan Pardew: "Remy Cabella and Jack Colback can pick up where they left off against City.
“I hope so because they are going to have more of the ball.
“We had our best stats against City since I have been manager in terms of passing and possession and a foothold in the game, but expect us to have a little bit more against Aston Villa.
“Therefore, particularly Cabella should see more of the ball and make more moments happen.
“He is an exciting player. He plays with a smile on his face, we have enjoyed his company so far, and we hope he brings that smile he has on the training ground to the game on Saturday.
"Colback was man of the match on Sunday and I'm not surprised by his success early on.
“Because from the day he walked in here he has looked what I hoped he was going to be, a player who can carry the Newcastle shirt.
“It is a big shirt, it carries responsibility and the role I have given him carries more responsibility than perhaps he had at Sunderland and I think he is enjoying that.
“I want him to express himself a little bit more and I think he will prove that too. We are really pleased with him.
“Villa Park is somewhere where we have played well and we have proved we can win there.”
