Coleman left Spanish second division club Real Sociedad last week because the new chairman started signing players above the manager's head, and Coleman claims he had a clause in his contract saying he had full control of team affairs.
Coleman v Shearer - Keegan Must Decide!
Coleman: "I've been doing it for the last five years so maybe a bit of time off won't do me any harm.
"But if something comes up and you think it could be a good one, then you're going to go for it."
But Keegan has since said he will talk to Alan Shearer about the job. A job Shearer (even last night on MOTD) said he still wasn't sure about because in an 'ideal world' he wants to be manager.
So don't rule out Coleman.
