Forget 8th ... he wants to WIN something.
The problem with Pardew and his side-kick (Mike Ashley) are their lack of ambition, and 8th is for losers!
What does it bring? Certainly not a place in Europe, and winning the League Cup would put us back on the map.
Fabricio Coloccini (talking to the Daily Mirror): “For us it is a dream, (it is) unbelievable.
“We need to think about the game in 90 minutes and try to beat them. For us it is very important. We’re thinking only about Tottenham for now.
“It’s very important for us, the city and the club. Hopefully we can do it.
“At the beginning of the season we didn’t get the results but we were still fighting very hard. That’s why after a few games the results came.
“It’s the same now, we are still fighting. We have to be focused for the next game against Tottenham and try to go back again.”
