With seemingly no chance of any first team football at St James’ Park the transfer listed defender is also hoping to use the game to prove to other Premiership managers that he is fit enough to move before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
"At the moment it's possible I will play 15 to 20 minutes against the Swedes but the coach is considering my position," Dabizas told The Journal.
"I haven't really had a chance to talk about my fitness properly and we haven't yet trained together but I can only hope for the best.
"I'm just waiting to see what happens.
"It's good to be involved with the national team and at least people know that I'm back. I still think my future lies in England but only time will tell."
