"Outrunning Chelsea and Leeds, two big Premiership clubs is not an easy task and we needed to work hard through to achieve it," he said on his personal site.
"Returning to the Champions League not only will give the club prestige but will help our game develop as we will have to compete at the highest level possible.
"Of course we will need to go through the qualifying games. I am fairly confident that over these two games everyone will do what it needs to be done to get us to the groups.
