The right-back has enjoyed a good season on Tyneside and he is expected to be included in Didier Deschamps' squad for Brazil.
Debuchy is allegedly sidelined with a groin injury and he is not expected back until later in April.
Speaking to Telefoot he said: "I have been out for ten days but I am progressing well, in two weeks I should be ready.
"My goal now is to go to the World Cup, that is what I am thinking about."
Debuchy was asked about his long-term future following reports that he is a target for Paris St Germain.
He added: "I am still under contract at Newcastle and I focus on the end of the season and the World Cup.
"But PSG is a great club, it is a dream - but that is for all players."
