“I feel I learned a lot while I was at Newcastle and as far as I am concerned I left there with no bitterness,” he said today.
“It will be a good game for me because I am friends with everyone at Newcastle.
“Before I moved here I visited Newcastle’s training camp and spoke with the players and with Bobby Robson. Everything is OK.
“I know they wanted to keep me but I had to make a choice and I chose Manchester City. It will be a big game but they all are in the Premiership and I will not be approaching it any differently.”
