Alan Pardew: “I really need my senior players to get us over the line.
“But I will not hesitate to use (Campbell) on Saturday if I think he’s the bright little button we need to get a goal near the end of the game.
“You shouldn’t imagine, in the situation we’re in, that he should have a responsibility to carry the jersey from the start, but he is going to be in and around it.
“If I can get a chance to get him some game time between now and the end of the year, I will.
“He’s going to be a terrific player for the football club.”
