Martin Dubravka could be set for a permanent deal at Newcastle, with the goalkeeper on course to make his loan switch permanent, according to the Daily Express.
The Slovakian has impressed for the Magpies so far this season. and could be set for a permanent switch in the Summer.
David Jones of Sky Sports said during the coverage of Newcastle’s 2-1 win over Arsenal:
He said:
They have more chance, they think, of making the loan signing of their goalkeeper Martin Dubravka permanent [than Kenedy].
Our sources tell us the option is there, the intention is there, to make it a permanent signing.
They just haven’t got it over the line just yet.
They might struggle to sign Kenedy however, with the Brazilian linked with a move to one of Europe’s top clubs.
Newcastle would love to keep him (Kenedy).
The problem is his form has alerted one or two of Europe’s major clubs. So that might be a bit of a barrier.
