The 20-year-old Dutchman - probably egged on my his agent - said on Monday he welcomed the interest, but yesterday he told the Chronicle he is convinced his future remains bright in the North East.
He understands he has a major job ahead of him trying to edge out Shay Given, but he also knows the job would be a lot tougher getting the number one jersey at Stamford Bridge.
Another loan spell (he spent last season at Falkirk) would suit the player and Newcastle United.

"All I know is I love Newcastle and I love England. There's been a lot of speculation and a lot of stories. But it's just talk.
