KIERON DYER: "Every player wants to win in an FA Cup final some day. I am no different and everybody here feels the same.
"We have a tricky tie, but we've had tricky ties in the past and progressed.
"Even this season we have had tricky games but we have come through them - places like Palermo and Frankfurt where we have got results.
"I want to be here at Newcastle when we do win something.
"I have heard the stories when we lost in the FA Cup final in 1998 and 1999 and thousands lined the streets of Newcastle to applaud an open-top bus with no trophy.
"Being knocked out of the Carling Cup by Chelsea has put more emphasis on the FA Cup. We aren't going to win the Premiership so the FA and Uefa Cup are now our best chances of silverware.
"We have got to go down to Birmingham with all guns blazing and be in the hat for the next round.
"Since I have been at the club we seem to do well in the FA Cup and we've had some good runs in the competition.
"We've been to some semi-finals and I think some of our supporters would prefer us to win the FA Cup more than anything else."
