“It is gutting when you don’t. From a personal point of view, you can only go out and play your best. You always just look to add to the team performance.
“Whether you are keeping the score from 2-0 to 1-0, saving a draw or contributing to a win, you just want to give something.
“You have to keep going – you can only deal with what comes at you.
“As much as I’d like to run out and tackle somebody when it’s not going well, you can’t. You just have to keep your head and deal with it when it comes at you.
“When we have a full strength team we can beat anybody.
“We’ve had both ends of the spectrum – last season we had no injuries, this year we’ve been unlucky.”
