The Reading boss said the Turk "swore in Italian" as he had a verbal battle with the Reading coach.
The player was again in trouble at Goodison on Saturday, but the Football Association are unlikely to launch an investigation into claims of racism unless asked to by Everton.
Reports today alleged the 26-year-old Turkish international made comments during angry exchanges with goalkeeper Tim Howard and defender Joleon Lescott after the Magpies had been awarded a penalty in Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Goodison Park.
Referee Dermot Gallagher spoke to the player during the game, but took no further action, and it therefore seems unlikely the incident will be mentioned in his report.
The FA have received no complaint and are not expected to become involved unless that situation changes.
