Engelaar Would Be Star Buy For Toon!

Alan Devon: "I'm hearing today that the Toon are trying to sign Holland's Orlando Engelaar from FC Twente as a replacement for Emre. Portsmouth and Everton are also linked and apparently he can go for 7m quid.
"Trust me on this one, the lad is a brilliant player ... he's 28 and stands at 6"5 with one hell of a build on him, infact he was playing for Breda when Toon played them in the Uefa Cup a few seasons back.
"He has great passing skills and as a former centre forward he loves to get forward but believe me I'd be excited if I signed for us. Will keep you posted!"

"The ''Season Ticket'' you think you are buying expires in six weeks on 31st July 2008 when they hammer you for another £34.99 for another season ticket.
"The whole thing is worded to con you into thinking your getting a good deal on next seasons prices ... but your actually buying last seasons ''season ticket'' which isn''t a lot of use.
"The website designers know about the problem but as yet still haven''t changed the graphic or the wording.
"Shame on them.
"To make things worse they took two lots of £17.99 off me."
