... but what the hell has happened to Newcastle United’s Gael Bigirimana?
Something has happened behind the scenes that we don't know of, because Alan Pardew has obviously wiped his hand of the kid and told him to move on.
Brigi in happier times
Officially he was up for sale in the summer, but no club showed any interest.
This week he went training with League One club Yeovil Town, and even they don't want him.
Apparently the problem is the club already have six loanees and they can only name five in a matchday squad.
Glovers manager Gary Johnson (talking to the Western Gazette): “He’s gone back.
"He only came down for a couple of days, and did OK.
"It was just an initial contact, because we’ve got six loans and we cannot take on seven loans.
“He was a good lad, and we will keep an eye on the situation.”
So why take him in the first place?
He hasn’t played for Newcastle since August last year and he was even dropped from the Newcastle Under-21 squad earlier this season.
Yet he won every award going during his spell at Coventry City.
