Solano had two spells at Newcastle, and says he would like to return as manager one day, but he wants another club in England before returning to South America.
The Peruvian has been released by West Ham United after just one season at Upton Park but, despite hoping to stay in England, he has insisted there is no chance of him rejoining the club he left a year ago for 'family reasons'.
Solano: "I am looking for another club."
"I hope to stay in England for another two years and after that, I will return to Peru.
"Everybody knows what I feel about Newcastle and those fans, but it would be difficult to ever return there. The reason I was forced to leave Newcastle was because of family reasons, and that situation has not changed.
"I don't really know Kevin Keegan, but when I saw him in action at Upton Park at the end of the season, I was very impressed with him.
"If there is one man who can turn things around at St James's Park, then that man is Kevin Keegan. No matter where I am in the world, I will be hoping and praying that he does."
