Martin Jol has kept Defoe under wraps for most of the season, seemingly liking Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane as his strike force. That has frustrated Defeoe, who is trying to become a regular in the England set-up, and Bellamy has not set Anfield alight as, once again, his off-the-field antics have gained more publicity than his goals.
