It has been the rumour at Carrow Road all season that the 31-year-old has not seen eye-to-eye with new boss Glenn Roeder, and Huckerby has been furious that the ex-Newcastle boss has over-looked him many times this season.
But it may not be all doom and gloom for the player, as he could make a return to the Premiership, with Sunderland boss Roy Keane said to be interested in offering him a one year contract.
Huckerby looks set to join the retiring Dion Dublin in making his last appearance at Carrow Road against QPR next weekend.
Huckerby: "All I can tell you is what I know, and at this present time it looks like I will be leaving. But no hard feelings, that's life."
Roeder made an immediate impact at Carrow Road, taking the Canaries out of the relegation zone, but they have hit poor form again and relegation is not out of the question.
Huckerby: "I don't want my last couple of games to be where the club get relegated, and I think that will be unfair on me and unfair on the lads, but we are in a position because we haven't won enough games and hopefully we can get ourselves out of this situation and I can look back on this as being probably the best part of my career."
