I'm sure you remember Glass when he signed for Newcastle back in 1998. He made a lively start for the club, but faded out of the scene when he struggled to bounce back after a serious injury.
Sir Bobby Robson didn't take to him and he was quickly put on the transfer list and joined Watford in 2001 after 57 appearances (26 as substitute) and seven goals.

Stephen Kenny (Dunfermline manager): "He's coming here to try to help us win the First Division. He's turned down a club in the Premier League to sign for us because he enjoyed his football here and he was a good influence around the dressing-room. I think he will be an asset for the season ahead."

Glass won only one Scotland cap as a substitute against the Faeroe Isles in 1998 when he was a Newcastle player.
He helped Aberdeen win the 1995 Scottish League Cup and also played as a substitute for Newcastle against Manchester United in the 1999 FA Cup Final.
