FA Not Taking Shearer Bid As Serious!

Shearer, himself, joked about suggestions he was after Steve McClaren's job when he was quizzed by Mark Lawrenson on 'Match Of The Day' last week.
Lawrenson said: "Harry Redknapp would be a good choice, and he would need a right-hand man or coach, and Alan could do the job."
Shearer replied: "Harry already has a right-hand man, Tony Adams".
FA chief executive Brian Barwick told his board he is looking for a "world-class manager", according to The Telegraph newspaper.
And that would appear to rule the Geordie legend out of the running for the top job.
But Shearer is still being touted as a potential number two, working alongside a top boss while he gains vital managerial experience.
Shearer is yet to earn his FA coaching badges.
