Fans to be reimbursed

With the travelling fans in mind, club officials had tried to persuade UEFA to let the game kick off at 10pm rather than postpone it immediately, but with no guarantee that conditions would improve the decision was taken to move the game back 24 hours.Shepherd quickly issued a statement, which read: "Because of the circumstances of the situation, fans who have shown their loyalty to the club by travelling to the game on the club organised travel will be recompensed in due course."
With virtually all travelling fans flying home before the new kick off time I’m sure the offer is of little consolation at the moment, but at least the club has for once made an effort to help fans.
