The 30-year-old is keen to move, and although he has not gone public at the moment (but expect a parting shot when he DOES go), it is thought he wasn't the same player after Sam Allardyce was given the boot in January.
Allardyce took him from Bolton, and Faye and Keegan seem to be poles apart, and the parting will be good for both parties.
KK has Faye well down the pecking order at Newcastle, and a transfer is sure to go ahead before the transfer window closes.
Faye made 22 appearances at Newcastle last season after joining in the summer for £2.5m.
