Burnley becomes even bigger after Norwich result
This was always going to be a big week in Newcastle’s season. Having failed to win in their opening 13 games, back-to-back home games against the other two sides in the bottom three represented a big chance to get the season going.
Having failed to beat Norwich, Saturday’s game against Burnley now has even more pressure piled onto it. If Newcastle fail to pick up their first Premier League win of the season this weekend then fans may be forgiven for wondering where the win will come from. This is put into perspective when looking at the next few fixtures on the horizon. Following the Burnley match, the Magpies travel to Leicester, then on to Liverpool before home games against Manchester City and Manchester United.
