Thauvin could turn out to be a fantastic attacking partner for Mitrovic, with the Serbian striker proving his ability as a lone forward already, and the duo could aid each other in performing better.
However, it will take time for the Frenchman to truly hit top form with the Magpies, but it would be good to see him start on that path this evening.
