For ****s Sake Joe - Get A Grip!
Kinnear is set to officially take charge of his first match (against Everton) on Sunday, and the former Womble came out fighting with an onslaught against journalists he believes have ridiculed him and tried to undermine his position.
Joe Kinnear (swear words are missing): "I will stand up and fight for myself in any corner. You're not going to frighten me in any manner.
"Whatever you do, or whatever headlines you run, you're not going to embarrass me.
"I'm not going to stand for it. I've come up here for a simple chance to prove myself.
"Get off my back and let me get on with my job. That's all I ask."
In the press conference Kinnear used 52 swear words and said members of the press were "c****" and "f****** out of order" in relation to stories he claimed were not accurate.
The former Wimbledon boss singled out Daily Mirror reporter Simon Bird and Express football writer Niall Hickman.
This was Kinnear trying to get on the side of the Toon Army backing their plea that the Cocknies are out to ruin the club ... from the outside ... rather than a dig at those on the inside (Mike Ashley and Dennis Wise).
