Gary has sampled the Champions League with Celtic; Steve is now at Turf Moor.

Burnley skipper Steve insists his side are in a no-lose situation when they head to Chelsea in the Carling Cup fourth round on tonight (Wednesday).

The Clarets are currently fifth in the Coca-Cola Championship, hoping for promotion ... as well as a good run in the League Cup.

Caldwell: "I'm lucky enough that I've played at Stamford Bridge before, but some lads haven't and they're going to thoroughly enjoy it.

"The lucky few who have played at the higher level will need to bring their experience to the game.

"We'll have to hope that it will be really tight early on and we don't concede an early goal, which would be disastrous on the night.

"If we can keep it tight and work tremendously hard to do that, then perhaps get to half-time level, then maybe we've got a chance.

"But even if the night doesn't quite go so well, you still learn so much from it and it stands you in good stead for when you get back to league duty.

"If we bring our best game to Chelsea and they are off their game, we can win - they're the facts.

"I really hope they play their best team against us because you want to play against the very best."
